Background
Jennifer A. De Francisco earned her Bachelors of Arts from
University of California at San Diego, and received her Master
of Public Administration and Master of Social Work from University
of Southern California. Ms. De Francisco is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker with significant experience in the English and
Spanish-speaking communities working with children, families,
individuals and groups primarily utilizing a psychodynamic
psychotherapeutic approach. Ms. De Francisco also has experience
in legal consultation and executive coaching.
My Approach
You are a unique individual and there is no one else in the
world like you. I want to know you, your history, and how
you experience what is troubling you. I tend to use what is
called a psychodynamic approach and have unconditional
acceptance of you as a person, no matter what is going
on, no matter what has happened. We will try to bring to the
surface what you are feeling, so we can understand it through
the therapeutic process.
Through developing a positive, therapeutic relationship, together
we interpret what is going on, both in your life and in the
session, creating a better awareness that you can take out
into the world. |
